We are not perfect, but we are called by God to serve Him in ministry.
Thankfully, God's perfect and blameless Son of God defeated sin on the cross.
Because we have surrendered our lives to Jesus, God's love has been poured out
into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:3-5).
We are children of God and co-heirs with Christ (Rom. 8:17-18).

God's plan for eternal life is simple.

RON YOUDE
Ron has a heart for Christian service and youth sports. He has played and coached football, basketball, and baseball for many years. He even began a church softball league.
Ron has many years of church service including elder board, worship leader, and mission teams. He was ordained as a lay pastor in 2022 and sent by the church to Costa Rica for missions. He loves studying the Bible with other men of all ages and values close relationships grounded in the truth of God's Word.

JULIE YOUDE
Julie is a life-long servant and educator. She is a mentor to other women and has worn many hats in Christian ministry.
Julie is a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She taught public school for 9 years and home schooled for more than twenty. She helps other families with the transition to home school. Julie enjoys tennis, swimming, and games of all kinds. She loves competition. She also tutors students, leads AWANA, attends Bible studies, and partners with Ron in ministry.

ZOE BELLA YOUDE
Zoe Bella ("life beautiful") has given her life to Christ and is passionate about loving and serving others. She is growing in Christ and dedicated to her family and friends. She enjoys reading, writing, swimming, and gaming, but volleyball is her favorite!
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:4-5)
JACO ROYALS BASEBALL PROGRAM
The Jaco Royals is a faith-based youth baseball program at Horizon Church in Jaco, Costa Rica. We use sports to introduce the transforming power of the Gospel to underprivileged youth and to cultivate Christ-like character among
families of players and coaches.

Through Jesus and his teachings, players learn and teach the sport and the values of discipline, respect, teamwork, and love for the Lord with all our heart and soul.
